Classes

Classes last for 2 hours, beginning with our traditional warmup (Junbi Undo), which has been developed over hundreds of years and is supported with modern sports science to create a safe and effective routine. We do stop for water breaks, so while there are facilities onsite feel free to bring a drink with you.

Due to our incredibly well-rounded syllabus, the focus of any session can vary, from kihon ido (moving basics), kata and hojo undo (supplementary training using traditional equipment) to kumite (sparring), pad work or self defence.

Because we are a small group, there is ample one-to-one time with the instructor and classes can be tailored to the individuals in the class.

Monday
18:30-20:30 Adults (16+) & senior grades.

Sunday
08:30-10:30 Cadets (Ages 8-16) & adults (16+).
